Welcome! My name is Bright Gao and I make native Windows applications w/ C/C++ and Win32. To me, software engineering is about writing efficient software that can run smoothly on old hardware - low CPU/memory usage, small executable size, etc.
It makes me sad that software engineering doesn't exist anymore (everyone is using electron, python, react, etc and no one minds the inefficiency/bloat). It is all about marketing and UI/UX.
I also develop drawing tablet drivers.
